Canis lupus signatus

The Iberian wolf is the subspecies of wolf endemic to the Pyrenees. The main fetaures that distinguishes the Iberian wolf are the presence of white marks on the upper lips, a vertical dark mark that runs the length of its front legs, a dark mark along its tail and a dark mark on its shoulders. They live in packs of between five and seven and they move in single file.

When we observe the wolves in Lacuniacha we can clearly see the way they move in a sideways motion so that they can keep track of us.
